HAPPY BIRTHDAY Shaun!!!
All the best to you in EVERYTHING that you do and be happy always(:

Just came back from Malaysia. Bought quite a lot of things and spent a total of S$251.84 after I converted my spending to Singapore currency. ALL these are excluding food, accommodation and transport except the international buffet at Coffee Terrace. I hope I did not spend too much money because I only bought things which I thought are cheap or that are cheaper than those in Singapore. And anyway, I bought my swimming costume, so just ask me along if you feel like swimming?

Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Went to lh's house to have a picnic and to celebrate x'mas together. Since it's raining and it's quite troublesome to have a picnic outdoors, going to someone's house may be a better option. The last minute changes we did yesterday was quite funny when syw read out the messages we sent to her. Lol. Making her and ourselves confused.

It was GREAT yesterday. There's so many board games in lh's house and we had a fun time playing them though we did not play all yesterday. I want to play Twister next time, so sus, don't wear skirt. Hahax! Lh and syw gave really nice x'mas presents. They are all so girlish and I like them so much! Lh gave a precious thots photo album and book mark, while syw gave a clip with a ribbon and a 'C' keychain ((:
Sus and I have to give them their x'mas presents another day due to a slight misunderstanding we had on gift exchange. Lol.

Then we took many photots with lh's camera and I took many mosaic photos with my handphone. I like this function so much! Hahax :D But I still cannot upload the photots from my phone to my com.

Aces day is coming and we need to find another day out. Let's wear dresses togeher! Hope we meet up soon(: Love Aces <3

Bro gave me an Escada's Moon Sparkle perfume a few days ago. It smelled so sweet I wonder if any bees will be attracted to it if I put it on. Anyway, at least he bothered to buy me something.
We were supposed to get 3 handphones yesterday, but only got 2 because I have to wait for my special edition, snow white Samsung Jet. Bro said that the phone I wanted is very guyish, and I was like "huh?!? I thought it's stylish!" Lol. Turned out that he was referring to the black one and he said that the white one is more girly, to my relief. Bro got his iPhone so that means I have an iTouch now! I've been waiting for this. Hahax!

Super bored that I've no jobs currently. Some are either too far, or too menial, or too....
I don't care, I want to earn money.

The Vampire Diaries
Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Stefan, Elena, Damon (names in the show)

Lol. I finally watched episode 10 of The Vampire Diaries. It's all along in tudou.com and I've been depriving myself of that! Hahax :D
Anyway, before watching episode 10, I thought that was the last episode for season 1. But there's actually 22 episodes!! Yay. Lol. I want to watch all of them real fast. But, it has stopped screening because they made the first 10 episodes to see how good the ratings are first. Luckily, they signed another contract to film another 10 more episodes which still left another 2 more episodes to go for the entire season to end. Oh, c'mon...this show is a hit. Just speed up the productions! Anyway, they are still probably in the process of filming SEASON 1 and screening of this show has stopped for the time being due to the holiday season, so screening of this series will only start in 14 Jan. Arghhhhhh, how can holidays be fun when they cut off those nice series during such a festive season. Oh man, this is a total pain in the neck.
I wonder who has The Vampire Diaries?

V for Vampires
Tuesday, December 15, 2009

X'mas is coming and I'm so excited whenever x'mas approaches because I 'll start imagining myself being in a warm cottage where there's a wide spread of piping hot food on a very long table. Then there's all my family, friends and relatives cuddling beside each other enjoying the good food while it's snowing outside. I want to go to Europe to spend x'mas together. It'll be such an experience!

Anw, I'll be having an appointment with my beautician tomorrow morning for a facial that costs $58. Well, it's not too costly I hope because it includes trimming of eyebrows. Initially, the beautician did not want to include that in and after Mum spoke to her, she agreed to it! She said that a normal package costs $48 but she intends to add some nourishing chemicals in, so she needs to add an additional $10. I think it's really a bargain because trimming of eyebrows at her shop costs $8 and so all in all, she only charged me an extra of $2! Lol. Though Mum says that they should normally include trimming of eyebrows as part of a package, I think it's quite cheap because facial doesn't come cheap right?

Ok,ok. I am absolutely into vampires. I just can't get enough of them. I mean stories of them, of course. I thought the Twilight saga is the only series that is able to really really really lure me into a world where vampires exist. That was probably because of Edward Cullen:D
But, no. It's not just this series. And it's not just Edward Cullen.

I am totally addicted to The Vampire Diaries! OMG!!!!! I thought there would never be anymore vampires that are as appealing and charismatic as those in the Twilight saga. But no, those in The Vampire Diaries are just as alluring. They are totally cool, seem more realistic and are soothing to the eyes. Hahax! Stefan Salvatore.

I can go on for days for stories like these. Well, the thing about vampire stories are that it's quite cliche in some sense. That's inevitable, of course. For instance, they are scared of sunlight, human blood makes them stronger, they have some kind of supernatural power, etc. But after watching The Vampire Diaries, the Twilight series seems to have some flaws due to certain weaknesses of vampires that were simply unaddressed or left ignored otherwise. For example, the skin of vampires in the Twilight saga will sparkle when exposed to sunlight but this wasn't discreetly shown in every scene where there's sunlight. Whereas, those in The Vampire Diaries addressed this issue by letting the vampires wear a special ring that will help them overcome problems like fear towards light and garlic. Ha, that solves it all!

Still, for such stories to be interesting, there must be some differences. In The Vampire Diaries, there are no werewolves, only witches. (This saves the need for any graphics huh?) The vampires have the ability to compel their victims to do things just as they wish by looking deeply into their eyes and repeating the words to them. They call this compellsion (or something like that), but doesn't this seem like hypnotism? Another tactic of them to create a difference simply by using a different word. Lol. Vampires are killed by thrusting a wood right into their hearts. That's funny. I thought their hearts would have stopped pumping?

Oh man. I really don't like to watch or read any interesting novels because I often plunge myself into the plot or rather the world that those authors have created. Well, I'm actually doing those authors a favour ok. Then I will find it kinda difficult to detach myself from the world the authors have 'conjured' up. Ok, I really must learn to distinguish between what is reel and real. Reality please!

Argh! I want to watch The Vampire Diaries episode 10!! Ok, vampires out of my sight. I'm going into the world of shopaholics now and finish reading the book.

Omg, Stefan was born in Mystic Falls in 1847. He's much older than Edward Cullen!

Buffet Lunch
Sunday, December 13, 2009

Went to Pu Tien to have buffet lunch with my relatives. It was a sumptuous lunch though each serving was quite little. Time always passes so fast when I'm with my relatives because they are normally quite 'draggy' and will do things at their own pace.... So, it was already 5pm when we left that place.

Anyway, x'mas is coming and I need more money.

CCA Chalet
Saturday, December 12, 2009

Jh actually lent me 7 books in total! Lol. She's so nice, lending me so many books at one go. So now, I can really read storybooks to occupy my time. Hahax!

And so I went to chalet on Friday. It was at Pasir Ris Coasta Sands Resort. I only reached there at around 7pm plus because Karen and I had no idea how to go there. Just nice for the food since the rest had already set the fire and were in the process of barbequeing! But of course, we still helped out in the BBQ process by fanning the fire, marinating the food on the grill and turning the food front and back. Lol.

I did not eat the chicken wings because it's quite troublesome to eat them, so I ate sausages and satay without the peanut sauce. But, the best part of BBQ is still the marshmallows! Too bad, there was no chocolate fondue to top it up. Or else, it will taste even nicer. Hahax! Even so, the melted marshmallows is still delicious without the fondue. I made sure that the marshmallows turn a light golden colour and expanded to a reasonable size before popping them into my mouth. This is to ensure that the marshmallows are really crispy on the outside and uber soft on the inside!

Afterwhich, we went back to bathe and I lazed around with them...camwhoring and all that while I waited for my mahjong game. It was so FUN camwhoring! We tried all the funny styles of making our photos look more comical. It was simply H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!! I laughed non-stop all the way! It was literally ROFL :D It has been quite a while since we all had this much laughter. It was really heart-warming to know that all this laughter is slowly coming back to all of us.

And so I continued slacking while waiting to play MAHJONG! I cannot believe that I actually had to wait till 2am just to play mahjong?!? We played from 2-4am. It's just a short game, and what a midnight mahjong game it was! Then I squeezed with the girls but I cannot sleep for that 1 hour because I only had space enough for half of my body, so I ended up having to twist and turn to find a suitable position. It's either that the position i lied was too straight for me to fall asleep, or that the position will cause numbness in my arms. Hello?!? How the heck do you expect me to fall asleep in that kind of condition?

That was the last straw! Jh cannot fall asleep so I took her part of the bed. Thank goodness there was enough space and a pillow for me to lie on! Omg, pillows! I need pillows for me to sleep really well. And so I slept soundly for 2 hours before being awoken by someone's extremely irritating and weird alarm signal.

When we woke up, Jas let us listen to an alarm signal made by JJ and Jin Sha. It was really funny because it sounded so childish, spastic and idiotic. Hahax! Then we took more photos with our juniors and seniors. It was funny once again and played many more games that only made me laugh even louder and harder. Basically this chalet was FUN in that sense.

Though we did not cycle, go Escape theme park or Wild Wild Wet, I still enjoyed myself immensely due to the large buckets of joy and laughter it brought to us. And anyway, I wasn't too interested in cycling because my foot still hurts slightly. But, I want to go to the Escape theme park.

We just slacked for the second day of the chalet but oh well...whatever! I'm too tired to play anything, really.

I watched half of the movie, 17 Again before leaving and I really want to watch till the end, but have to leave early. I know they feel kind of sad that most are not staying overnight today, but I'm sure we'll have some kind of gathering soon enough. Lol.

P.S: I learnt from my seniors that I can still enjoy student price for movies next year! I feel more relieved now. Although I'll not be enjoying student price for transport next year, it's better than nothing right! And I think I can still have student price in restaurants too....

Story-telling time
Thursday, December 10, 2009

I'm currently at my cousin's house now. Have been here since yesterday evening to 'take care' of their house. Will be going to school later to do the photo album we are going to give Karen for her belated bdae. Omg, it's really belated because by the time we give her her present, it's going to be 1 month after her actual bdae. Lol.

Probably won't be blogging as frequently after this post since I have chalet during the weekends and I have many books to indulge in. Jh agreed to lend me these books:
  • Thanks For The Memories by Cecelia Ahern
  • A Place Called Here by Cecelia Ahern
  • If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern
  • Shopaholic and Sister by Sophie Kinsella
  • Shopaholic has a baby by Sophie Kinsella

That's 5 books for me to enjoy and occupy my time!

Cooking lesson
Wednesday, December 9, 2009

Learnt how to make curry puffs from my cousin's maid this morning. Took more than 1 hour to make the curry puffs. It really isn't that easy to make curry puffs afterall. Such a simple food, yet it requires so much time. Of course, it's easy for people to just finish them in just a big mouthful, but what about all the effort behind it? It takes just 1 minute or maybe just a second for people to finish a curry puff, but it actually takes 1 hour to prepare everything FROM SCRATCH! Omg, cooking really isn't all that easy, is it?

So, I know how to make curry puffs now, though it may not be very delicious. Lol. I had intended to make curry puffs and butter cake today, but I guess we only have time to make curry puffs. I'll be learning how to make cookies from her the next 'lesson' which could probably take place this coming monday. Hahax!

Just looked through the movie junkie and found some movies which I want to watch. It seems that January has more nice movies than those screening in the other months. And I'm so excited to watch them! But what excites me most is Eclipse! which will be screened in June(: Lol. That's so fast! I had only just watched New Moon and Eclipse is only 6 months away. I guess they are really rushing through the production to ensure that people do not forget about the twilight saga. What with them saying about striking the iron while it's hot? I guess they just want to keep the heat going and exploit the popularity of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and TAYLOR LAUTNER. Hahax! Given the amount of earnings the twilight saga had resulted so far, which had far exceeded that of what they had expected, I'm sure they have enough money to speed up productions. Alas, I will not be able to enjoy student price next year! So watching more movies will only mean that more money is flowing out and a bigger hole in my pocket. Well, I shall learn to earn money and save more money now! Hope I can find a stable job real soon.

Boring day....
Tuesday, December 8, 2009

Went out shopping for people's presents today. I have no idea why I yawned many times today. Probably because I wasn't fully asleep as what I should be. Anyway, today was a relatively boring day.

Going to learn baking from my cousin's maid tomorrow and I'm quite excited about this! Then I cannot wait to lay my hands on jh's storybooks. Hmm, seems like she'll be lending me around 8 books! Lol. Then it'll be chalet from fri to sun. And then it'll be a new week. Hope I can find time to jog and trim my eyebrows then!

Tooth Extraction
Monday, December 7, 2009

Who likes dentists? Not me at least. They are the 'monsters', the 'tyrants' that always seek to find fault with your teeth no matter how much effort you put in to take care of those teeth. Okay, I know I'm exaggerating things again but how nice if humans' teeth are like those of sharks where the teeth will always grow back after the old ones drop off. Imagine that...there'll be no need for dentures, no need to fear that our teeth will rot and never grow back, no need to have regular check-ups with the dentist and no need to fill up any holes, knowing that we have an 'unlimited supply of teeth'.

Went to extract out the last molar on the top left hand corner of my mouth, so it's a relatively large tooth. The process was scary, not because there was pain. In fact there was no pain at all since i had 2 jabs of anesthesia rather, it was the tugging and the pulling by my dentist that really scares me. I'm glad that the nurse held my head in place during the yanking process or else I may already be fidgeting around.lol

So, this experience made me even more adamant in not making braces considering the fact that I have to extract four teeth just to put a troublesome metal into my mouth. Well, one tooth puts me off more than enough. At least I feel much more relieved now though I think that the wound is still bleeding and I have changed 7 gauze since then. Bear with it! All in the name of having a healthier set of teeth.

Going out to Orchard to shop for people's presents tomorrow before embarking on my new assignment. Hope it goes well!

Can't wait to watch You are My Destiny on KBS World which will only start showing at 1.45pm. So, I will continue entertaining myself while I wait for the drama.

I want to watch movies. A lot and a lot and a lot of movies!!!!!!! I have not watched any horror movies this year yet and I actually missed the Saw and Final Destination series. Argh!

Well, start saving money and hopefully I can watch more either this month or next year. Hahax!

Post-prom
Sunday, December 6, 2009

This is my new blog after an abandoned one i had many years ago. I will not guarantee that I can maintain this, but since I have nothing much to do during the holidays...so,maybe i should just blog. Lol.

I kept thinking that post-prom was yesterday when it was in fact two days ago, probably due to the hangover I had. Post-prom was really FUN. I had a great time out with my classmates. We went to class prom first at a restaurant along clarke quay, which I had quickly forgotten the name of the restaurant. I had blisters at the back of both of my feet shortly after arriving at the class prom venue, so I just had to bear with it. Everyone dressed well and they look really nice! Hahax!! I like clarke quay but the one thing I really dislike is the fact that the men there STARE. They stare at females in a pervertic way that totally disgust me. This made me feel really uncomfortable and I had the suudden rush to go up to them and tell them that this is not Geylang but clarke quay! Maybe I'm just not used to it but oh well....

After having dinner, we went to Yellow Jello for a few glasses of hard liquor. It was nice drinking that as it wasn't the most bitter liquor i had tried so far. Besides, I learnt something there! taking salt before drinking can make you more 'high', but i did not try that for fear of being too 'high'.lol. So, I just drank the liquor and sucked a slice of lemon to make the liquor less strong for me.

It was a good thing that I did not take the salt because I felt a little 'high' after drinking more alcohol in Rebel. The feeling was great. I was not drunk, but carefree and this makes dancing a lot more easier. It was as if you were dancing without anyone watching and that you feel so free, so unrestricted. We headed straight for the dancefloor and started grooving along with the music since there wasn't really much space for us to dance. I love to dance but I just hate it that most guys there will intentionally come up close to females to dance with them. Some even rub their backs against them. eeeeeeeeee!

We moved on to Zirca, but we all feel that Rebel is the best because the music there is better and it's nicer to dance! Lol. But, one thing cool about Zirca is that they have the cage/stage podium for people to go up there to dance for all to see. Some 'brave souls' in our class took the lead and danced up there while some got taken advantage of. But I guess this is quite inevitable in clubs. We just have to elbow those perverts away!

So, we danced the night away until the clubs close at around 4.30am. We went to sit outside the MRT station to wait for the earliest train which will arrive at 6am! OMG. My feet hurt like mad due to excessive dancing! My whole feet was in pain, which had not happened before. I really wished that I had brought an extra pair of slippers and secretly thought to myself that slippers has been the most wonderful invention on Earth.

And so I limped al the way to Changi airport where Ht, Ser, Qing, Fel, Gav, Aur and I faithfully sent Shan off despite experiencing extreme fatigur and pain in our feet. Though Shan kept telling us not to bother sending her off, we still want to and I'm sure Shan is feeling tired too. Hahax! Well, I will certainly miss her....

Afterwhich, Ser and I took 858 back to Yishun which I slept for around 5 hours before waking up to have my dinner and fruits. The I slept like a pig again till the next morning. Lol. No pictures because I did not bring my camera so I shall wait till people uplaod the pics onto their blogs or Facebook. Hahax!

I have no idea when I'm going to have such an outing with 0805 again but I feel that this is the best and most proper outing we had ever. Lol. I'm going to remember that my very first clubbing experince is given to 0805!

I had a haircut at Jean Kiat today which costs $18. The man there tried to charge me $20 saying that there's no discount for JC students which I was quick to refute that they had CLEARLY pasted a list out there staing that a hircut for JC students cost $18! Well, that old hag probably think that I look young enough for him to cheat me of my money easily. It's really not the money issue rather, it's the arrogant look on his face that made me feel indignant. He did not even apologise for making a mistake of charging me the incorrect price! The haircut wasn't that bad though.

Going to the dentist tomorrow to extract a tooth. Hope I can bear with the pain.
