I found a temporary job as a temporary clerical officer in Novena. I'll be working till April so I'm quite satisfied with it since I do not want to work too long. And, I only need to work in the weekdays. Lol. The job is not too bad. There were so many youths entering IRAS on my first day of work there but I'm not working together with them since most of them will be working at the contact centre, manning the helplines. I'm working together with the working adults, having my own proper desk and telephone. Hahax!
Training for my job only lasts a few hours but for those working in the contact centre, they will be trained for at least a week. I think I prefer my job. There's only 3 TCOs for my department, and the other 2 are called Lynette and Rekha. Lynette is 24 while Rekha is 22, so both of them are older than me but they do not look like their age. Lol.
It's fine working with them and I can communicate with them alright. There are 2 people being in charge of us but both their desks are quite far away from mine. Hahax! Being in this job, I need to be on the phone most of the time though there's some administrative work to do. And I think I talk rather loudly especially when I talk on the phone in mandarin. It's kind of embarrassing but the people around my desks should get used to it soon.
I watched TVD episode 11 last week and I just watched episode 12! OMG, can't they just show everything at one go. But it's fine to me since I do not use the computer everyday. Damon is very charismatic and sensual but too bad he's the bad guy in the show. And I thought that Stefan has actually become more good-looking. Hmm, I still need to observe them more.... :D

I think I have neglected my blog for quite a while, seeing that I should be free everyday. I don't feel like working too much because I'm already used to the lifestyle now. Just relax and fully let my hair down. That's what this 8 months break is for right? Ok, quick update.
Went for tutoring on tues. I'm beginning to like the students more as I understand them, and they're also more frank and comfortable with me now. Though sometimes they really get on my nerves by asking me all the 'why' questions. I'll be happy to answer them of course, but I'm not a specialist regarding certain questions they ask. And after I had said my piece, there's one student who'll always debate with me on the response I gave him. Then I'll always reply,"That's not the issue. NEXT QUESTION!" Lol.
Tues' lesson was quite interesting and light for me as there were a few funny bits that tickled me during the lesson. I was giving one male student chinese and english words as spelling for the next lesson. So I realised that he did not know how to spell certain words and he would always smile sheepishly about that. He's quite plump actually, and that makes me want to pinch his cheeks even more! Hahax :D
Then there was another male student whom I was giving spelling to. The conversation goes like this----->
Me: "spellbinding"
Student wrote binding.
I thought he was playing a fool. And I reiterated,"spellbinding?!"
Student:"Ya what. You told me to spell binding."
Me:"Har, oh. (Laughs) I mean the word is spellbind."
Student:"OHHHHHHHH"
I did not realise that it can be interpreted that way too. Lol.
Then there was another female student who thought that carpenters are people who wash cars. Though I do not really know how to define carpenters for her, I certainly know that they are not carwashers.

Anyway, there are so many good books, movies and songs waiting for me to feast on them, but somehow I'm just too lazy to do just that. I just want to go out, watch tv, eat, sleep and talk. Hahax! And exercise too (: Maybe I'll watch one of the movies in Bro's hard drive soon since he's always asking me to watch them. The Vampire Diaries' episode 11 will be out in the US today, but not sure if they've been uploaded online yet.
Friends are all busy working. Well, most of them. They're not even free to go shopping, not that I'll go shopping with some of them. Sometimes I dont feel secured enough to go out with certain friends because they will back eventually, so I 'll not want to commit a loyal friendship with them either. Take for example, my cousins. (Though they're theoretically my cousins, not friends.) They'll always turn up for their swimming dates and are often 90% punctual for their dates, if not early. Then we may have our HTHT and OTOT. And of course I feel 100% secure when I go out with ACES. Needless to say. It's like the oldies. People like oldies because they are durable, have quality and value. Not that they are old, more like thay're good, old friends that can be trusted. And I consider their opinions when shopping too! Lol.
My wardrobe needs more clothes, so I'll be shopping with yz afterwards. SHOPPING.

Went swimming with siling today. Lixin cannot swim with us because she just went for a facial and need to refrain from over-exposure of sunlight. I was already perspiring like mad before I even had a swim....
I reached Safra punctually at 8.30am as arranged with sl. But, sl was late and only reached there at 8.45am which wasn't that late. Having 15mins of nothing-to-do while waiting for someone will somehow distort your estimation of time especially when you have no handphone or watch to keep check of time. And so I thought sl had forgotten about our swimming date and considered the thought of going back home to check my handphone for any messages. But before doing just that, I politely asked the woman behind the counter at the lobby if I may actually borrow their phone for a short while. Without even thinking twice, she just replied with a "Sorry, our phones are only for official use." Like I want to use your phones?!
So, I walked back home and Mum told me that sl told her that she has reached Safra already and is trying to find me. Oh well...and I walked all the way to Safra again. I like the idea of walking since it's a form of exercise and it's healthy for the body, saves money and it's faster than a bus because there's no waiting time. Lol. And so, we only started swimming at around 9.15am.
There are normally very few people swimming in Safra on weekdays so it's really a joy to swim in such a big, clean pool together with your friends or cousins. It's as if you own the entire pool! Imagine a pool all to yourself(:
When we were swimming the first lap, sl spotted an old pervert who kept looking at us. It's very obvious he's looking at us because he even turned back to glance at us again after we had swam past him! What the heck, wait till I gouge your eyes out you sicko.
Luckily, he left after we swam finish the first lap. Phew. But then there was another pervert. This pervert kept looking at us while we swam. I thought he was only looking at our faces. Later did I know that he was trying to see women's cleavages. My swimming costume is very secure, so he won't be able to see anything because it's all well protected. Sl's one should be the same too. We only marked him as a pervert after he kept swimming behind us, following us to the jacuzzi and purposely stopped swimming when he realised that we were swimming behind him, so that he could look at us after we swam past him. That freak! Sl and I both agreed that if he attempted one more of his idiotic tricks, we are going to inform the life guards about him. Hng. Damn it.
Swimming is so relaxing. We swam about 10-11 laps today. It's quite a lot to me and it did not feel strenuous at all because we kept talking after swimming a lap. It was such fun. And we get really tan after the swim which we both like it a lot. I want to swim more often to get a more well-toned, healthier and slim body. And since I'm a member of Safra, I have free entry to it all the time, until the membership expires. What's more sl is totally CRAZY about swimming right now. Hahax!
Anyway, sl, lx and I have been quite interested in voluntary work and should be volunteering soon. I'm looking forward to this because I've always wanted to experience being a volunteer, it's just that no one seems interested all this while. So maybe the three of us can go together. Lol.
